Respite Care
Temporary relief for primary caregivers by offering short-term care and support to individuals in their own home. This service ensures the individual’s needs are met while giving caregivers time to rest, manage personal responsibilities, or take a break. Support may include supervision, personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily activities.
In-Home Respite
Respite provided in the person’s home or place of residence.
Out-of-Home Respite
Respite provided outside of the person’s home or place of residence.

BI, CAC, CADI, AND DD
Under the BI, CAC, CADI, and DD waivers, the primary caregiver must both:
Maintain his/her primary residence at the same address as the person
Be the owner or leaser of the primary residence
