Hiring Process

Application Submission
The employee completes and submits the Absolute Care employment application.

Background Study
A Department of Human Services (DHS) background study is conducted on the applicant. The individual must successfully pass the background check to be eligible to provide services.

Required Training Enrollment
Once the background study is cleared, the employee is enrolled in the state-mandated 245D training (online) and/or PCA/CFSS training (online). All required training must be completed prior to the start of service delivery.

Client Introduction and Scheduling
After training is complete, the provider coordinates a meet-and-greet between the client and the worker, and service scheduling is finalized.
